A Horwood House Hotel Wedding – Milton Keynes
Imagine getting Tendonitis and being wheelchair bound just weeks before your wedding. Well, that’s what happened to our lovely bride, Louise but she didn’t let that stop her! She worked so hard in the weeks leading up to the wedding to be strong enough to walk around with the help of some beautifully accessorised crutches. She was determined she would make it down the aisle on the arm of her lovely dad, Brian; which she did, looking absolutely stunning.
The day started in the excitement of the bridal suite where I met Louise’s two bridesmaids. They share a special bond; all three have got married this year and they have all been bridesmaids for each other. They knew the routine well and set to work gathering all the beautiful details. Louise’s ‘something old’ was a ring passed down from her great grandmother. I love capturing these sentimental details that mean so much to the family and generations to come.
As the ceremony neared, I could feel the buzz of nerves and excitement building. After a year of the pandemic, it’s so nice to see families and friends catching up and laughing together after so long apart. The day went perfectly and Louise made it to the dance floor to have the first dance with her new husband followed by a special dance with her father.
Here are some of my favourites from their special day.
